Go me a lot of errors when I open the browser

I've had nix merely issues with Firefox 39.0 (using on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.eight). In order to quit, I take to force quit. It freezes upwardly continually. I'm well-nigh to uninstall it and outset using a dissimilar browser. I'd give it a 0 stars if I could.

Hither's the first review in 3 years.
This version is smooth and fast performing, literally taking many of it'southward looks and ideas directly from Google Chrome.
Along with smooth performance comes better retentivity management.
Firefox is probably the most configurable browser every bit well.

Seems to work corking with Mount Panthera leo 10.8.1 and updating Firefox from ver fourteen.

Appears to have flawless integration.

Doesn't work on Tiger (MacOS X 10.iv.ten for the not-cognoscenti...), hence the depression rating. Information technology's a shame really: Mozilla is following in Google'due south footsteps when information technology comes to Apple OSes, and forgets that not all Mac users can or desire to switch to Snowfall Leopard. Might too spit in our eye... Take Opera every bit the (perfect) counter-example, they who have recently launched a new version of their browser that's really multi-platform. Shame on you, Gorgonzilla! (pardon the cheesy pun...)

In my opinion Firefox doesn't even compare to Camino: www.caminobrowser.org . Even improve in my optics is webkit: www.webkit.org . Webkit is the fastest browser I have found for Mac & is updated several times per week.
Back to Firefox, I have tried Firefox two & 3beta. My experience was non skillful. The layout of browser menus & such collection me crazy. The browser was slower than Camino to open & slower to load webpages. This is on my 1gz imac with 1gig ram.

The flexibility is the primal hither and anti-phishing back up is of import, as well. The developers have been cleaning up the Gecko renderer and crashing is all merely a afar memory. Using version 2.x with Leopard instantly improves text display, which seems odd, since Mozilla didn't change anything in Leopard. Has Apple been holding dorsum all this time to make third parties look bad?

Version three.0 is still about ii months out and truly improves all facets of the browser.

It's quite a fleck better than before beta releases. The new theme was a bit shocking with its all argent/graphite await, only it will please the Safari crowd in that information technology doesn't expect anything like something on Windows. (They'll still mutter anyway.)

Performance is proficient but notwithstanding has a mode to get earlier it's ready for everyone. Startup and shutdown of the browser is slow. Once launched, information technology'due south quite speedy--faster than the current Safari simply not the Safari beta.

Manifestly, memory leaks have been addressed strongly and that's helped a lot to help stability. Information technology really doesn't feel like a beta but add-ons still don't work.

Gran Paradiso is a huge comeback over the previous version of Firefox. The Cocoa interface makes Firefox comparable to the speeds of Camino, and switching through tabs is manner faster than on Windows or Linux versions. Considering all the improvements Firefox's going to have, this version is going to be the almost anticipated release ever.
